Carla Jörgens is a Barcelona-based product designer, class of 2019 IED Barcelona. Influenced by two cultures. Spanish by heart and German in mind.
All of her projects have a strong bond with the user, made with a love for details and materials.
She is always up for new, exciting challenges, such as the lighting festival LLUM Barcelona, and participating in Challenge Based Innovation, a project in collaboration with CERN.
Her work has been exhibited at the Salon del Mobile in Milano (2018) and at the Fuorisalone (2021).

DESIGN BECAUSE...
Design is an unexpected journey in which inspiration can be found anywhere. It is so much more than just aesthetics. There's a complicity between the object and its user when its function is well defined. Little details can make a big difference.
